Dragon Warriors
Another local team, DW spawned from a merger between the Woman Warriors and the Beached Whales in 1999. During a local race, one team needed men and the other team needed women -- kind of like the dragon boat equivalent of two people walking down the street, one with a bar of chocolate and the other eating out of a jug of peanut butter. They collide, and the rest is history.

Ripple Effect
Bay Area dragon boat team closely tied with DieselFish. A bit of trivia, their name came from the same person that came up with the name, "DieselFish." *ahem.*

Hui Wa'a
A Hawaiian dragon boat team? A hula dance? No! They are a fierce outrigger paddling group!

The Mountain View team draw fierce competitors from not just one, but several high schools in the south bay (Mountain View, Milpitas, Homestead, and Crystal Springs).

We are proud to be members of the Cali D-Boat Association, a volunteer-based organization with consistent strong DieselFish representation. They own the boats, promote the sport, host the local races for kids and adults, make us sign a bunch of waivers.
