Bay Area Dragons, B.A.D.
Another Bay Area team that practices in Foster City, I think it's safe to say they set the foundation for dragon boating in the Bay Area as we know it.

DCH Dragon Boat Racing Club
Since 1993, this Queens, New York crew has been traveling the world flexing their paddles.

Dragon Warriors
Another local team, DW spawned from a merger between the Woman Warriors and the Beached Whales in 1999. During a local race, one team needed men and the other team needed women -- kind of like the dragon boat equivalent of two people walking down the street, one with a bar of chocolate and the other eating out of a jug of peanut butter. They collide, and the rest is history.

Ripple Effect
Bay Area dragon boat team closely tied with DieselFish. A bit of trivia, their name came from the same person that came up with the name, "DieselFish." *ahem.*

Our neighbors up north and a couple of thousand miles over, eh. This link is to their archived site, as of 12/2004, I'm not sure if this club is still active, but apparently you can still buy a house through their advertiser.
